A premier Lettings agency, exclusively dedicated to the vibrant community of Pinner and surrounding areas, is looking for a successful Lettings Manager to join their team. With over 50 years of unparalleled expertise, they continue to set the standard for excellence in residential lettings. Their commitment to providing exceptional service has cemented their position as leaders in the industry, and they are seeking a talented Lettings Manager or experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their established team.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven track record including problem-solving and excellent customer service levels. They should show a passion for the lettings industry and have knowledge of current lettings legislation. Aside from a good work ethic and positive attitude, our client is looking for someone who is polite and well presented, flexible, well organised, and able to think on their feet; someone who will go above and beyond who has great customer service.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Attracting new business and increasing market share.
  • Conducting market appraisals and negotiating competitive fees.
  • Developing relationships with existing and new landlords.
  • Calling and meeting with landlords (Tenants if necessary).
  • Assisting in the efficient progression of agreed deals.
  • Having a good understanding of Agreements and Cluses/Industry Regulations.
  • Serving Section 21 Notices.
  • Responding to telephone and website leads.
  • Using Rightmove and Zoopla back office to analyse and monitor performance.
  • Being proactive and thinking outside the box to attract new business.
  • Troubleshooting and working with other departments to problem solve.
  • Understanding of Accounts to be able to discuss queries with Accounts Department,
  • Chase outstanding rents/fees.
  • Working closely with all departments - Accounts, Renewals and Property Management.
  • When tenants serve notice, notifying the Landlord and liaising with Property Management
  • negotiating new fees and putting the property back on the market.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience booking and converting lettings market appraisals into instructions.
  • An understanding of letting portfolio management.
  • A true professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinker.
  • You must be highly driven and enthusiastic, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Proven track record in closing deals.
  • Experience in the property industry is essential.
  • A relevant degree or ARLA Propertymark Certification is a plus.
  • It would be beneficial to have a good knowledge of the local area.
  • An up-to-date understanding of market trends, local property values and an awareness of the local competition.
