Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: Derby, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an established Water Treatment / legionella company who hold a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now looking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor who has good access to the Midlands / M1. The successful candidate must hold an industry recognised qualification and will be confident carrying out risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems, as well, ideally holding experience carrying out technical risk assessments on process systems and cooling towers. Due to the nature of the contracts, the successful candidate must be happy to travel nationally within the role. Our client can offer the successful candidates the opportunity to train into water chemistry and the use of test kits.
Candidates with good access to the M1 and surrounding areas will be considered: Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Stoke-on-Trent, Burton upon Trent, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Corby, Coalville, Lichfield, Walsall, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Telford, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Solihull, Ludlowe, Coventry, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry recognised qualification is essential to the role e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Will have experience working hands on as a Risk Assessor within a Water Treatment / Legionella company.
" Will hold experience working on cooling towers / process systems.
" Excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
" Will be IT literate.
" Will have excellent time management skills.
" Able to communicate with clients and colleagues of all levels professionally.
The Role:
" Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems.
" Conducting technical risk assessments on process systems and cooling towers.
" Providing clients with legionella management plans, ensuring that they are implemented.
" Creating and carrying out work using schematic drawings.
" Producing detailed reports based on site findings, highlighting findings, and providing clients with advice and support.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines.
