Legal Secretary who has experience in Family Law and/or Wills, Probate and LPAs is required for a well-established solicitors based in Reading, Berkshire.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Legal Secretarywho has experience in Family Law and/or Wills, Probate and LPAs.
Working as the Legal Secretary you will have a meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
As the Legal Secretary you will also have excellent client-facing skills, which is essential for this role as you will be interacting with clients on a regular basis.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Legal Secretary include:
- Assist Solicitors in preparing and managing legal documents related to Family Law, Wills, Probate or LPAs
- Conduct research and gather information pertinent to cases
- Maintain and organise client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Communicate with clients, both in person and over the phone, providing exceptional customer service and answering inquiries
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates as needed
- Prepare legal correspondence and documents, including letters, contracts, and court forms
- Assist in the drafting and filing of legal pleadings and motions
- Perform administrative tasks to support the legal team, including managing calendars, making travel arrangements, and maintaining office supplies
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary with a focus on Family, Wills, Probate or LPAs is required
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Client-focused with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology in the relevant practice areas
