LEGAL SECRETARY

Our well established client is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client department in London. Full training will be given in relation to our practices, procedures and systems.

The department deal with an array of matters including drafting of complex and simple wills and tax planning and its related advice, lasting powers of attorney, and court of protection work, to include the administration of estates and trusts.

Skills/Experience

  • Experienced Private Client Legal Secretary. Full-time.
  • Ability to prioritise work, function efficiently under pressure and remain calm and professional.
  • Ability to work to set deadlines and produce accurate work.
  • Ability and desire to deliver exceptional Customer Service.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive "can do" attitude.

Duties include:

  • Taking and accurately recording client calls.
  • Taking new client enquiries.
  • Administration tasks such as diary, email, and document management
  • Conflict, ID and AML checks.
  • Opening new files.
  • Audio typing
  • Monthly billing.

Helpful to have:

Ideally you will have excellent secretarial and administrative skills to include a good knowledge of using Microsoft technology and case management systems. You must be accurate, well organised, approachable, confidential, and flexible. Salary will be competitive appropriate to experience.
