Legal Secretary – Personal Injury

Maidstone

Part time (3 or 4 days), permanent role

£25,000 - £28,000

Hybrid/flexible working arrangements available

The role

A well ranked Kent law firm is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Personal Injury team on a part time basis. This individual will be responsible for supporting fee earners within the team with secretarial duties, including but not limited to:

  • Typing correspondence and other written communications, word processing and typing from documentation or audio dictation.
  • Diary management for fee earners, including booking of meeting rooms
  • Undertaking file closing activities
  • Assisting with billings such as putting together billing guides and submitting invoices for payment
  • Maintaining accurate time records
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties as and when required by the team or senior management.
  • Liaising with clients via email and phone and taking relevant and clear messages.

The Personal Injury team is made up of 1 partner, a senior associate, legal executives and assistants, and the role will be to support the whole team on a wide range of interesting work.
