Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant
based in Finchley, close to all transport links
Negotiable salary around £33,000 p.a. 

Well established law firm based in Finchley are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant to work with one Solicitor who deals with Residential Conveyancing. 

They are interested in experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretaries or Conveyancing Assistants only, with at least 2 years experience in assisting with a busy Conveyancing caseload. 

They offer a professional working environment with a friendly atmosphere!

The successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant:
  • Must live in North London or within easy commute to Finchley, max. 45 mins in rush hour
  • Have fast and accurate typing skills, ideally 65-70 wpm
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word
  • Must be organised with an excellent telephone manner
Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Assistant duties include but not limited to: 
  • Open and close files
  • Deal with AML requirements
  • Issue initial letters to clients 
  • Draft contracts and TR1
  • Complete SDLT applications
  • Prepare LR applications
  • Deal with correspondence post exchange and on completion
The hours are full-time 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch!

Salary is around £33,000 p.a. depending on your level of experience!
