Legal Receptionist
A growing law firm with multiple offices across the United Kingdom is seeking a proficient and courteous Legal Receptionist for their Central Birmingham office. The successful candidate will be the initial point of contact for clients and will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and overseeing the reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cordially welcoming clients and visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or meeting room
- Answering incoming phone calls and managing the switchboard
- Responding to emails and administering the reception inbox
- Scheduling appointments and managing the meeting rooms
- Administering the reception area and ensuring that it is always presentable
- Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks as requested
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a receptionist or customer service representative is desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and meticulousness
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage but not a requirement
