Are you an experienced Legal Secretary/PA? Do you want to work for a large and reputable firm in Leeds (LS1) that offers a competitive salary and great benefits? If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Salary: Up to £27,000

Location: LS1

Hours of work: 9:00 - 5:00

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating administration of the team including:
  • Diary management
  • Coordinating team diaries
  • Arranging travel
  • Opening of client files
  • Ensuring regular and efficient billing and monitoring retainer arrangements
  • Draft correspondence and prepare standard documentation
  • Carry out copying, faxing, archiving, organisation of client files and filing systems
  • Make and receive telephone calls
  • Dealing with invoices
  • Prepare monthly client billing, expense claims
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain internal database
  • Stationery ordering
  • Developing good working relationships with both internal colleagues and external
  • Developing healthcare industry knowledge and attending training as may be necessary or desirable to assist in performance of the role

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficient in Word, digital dictation, Excel, Outlook
  • Proficient in diary management; meeting arrangements, telephone and email
  • Fast and accurate typing
  • Previous experience using case management system
  • Conversant in document version control
  • Able to take and pass on accurate messages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and to work under pressure
