Legal Counsel Part-Time

Are you an experienced commercial lawyer with a broad range of experience in commercial law, including property and employment matters? We have a fantastic opening for a qualified solicitor to join a leading London based healthcare company, specialising in the field of women’s health and fertility. Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not essential. Reporting to the CFO, this 2 days per week position will oversee legal operations, manage legal risks effectively and will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization's legal and ethical integrity.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal guidance to the board and senior management
  • Managing relationships with our external legal services providers
  • Drafting contracts and terms and conditions for our services provided to our patients
  • Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, partners, and service providers
  • Providing support to the Strategy Director and property team re: leases and property purchases
  • Providing legal support to the HR team including with employment contracts and for employment disputes

You will be a qualified solicitor in the UK with a valid practising certificate, with significant expertise in property and employment law. First-class analytical, negotiation and communication skills will be important as will be your ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage but is not essential.

Demonstrating gravitas and integrity, you will have strong personal credibility with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of colleagues, patients, and users of the company’s services.
