A fantastic law Firm in Hampshire, our Client is highly-regarded in the area for providing quality legal advice to both Commercial and Private Clients.

The Conveyancing Department is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to support the Team within its Andover Office.

The responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Providing cover in providing estimates for prospective Clients and handling these first stages of a Client’s journey with the Firm with appropriate responses
  • Opening and closing matters on the Firms Practice Management System
  • Writing and sending initial letters to Clients and relevant Third Parties
  • Applying for the required documents during the Conveyancing process, for example, redemption statements
  • Managing the completion stage including applying for the mortgage advance, completing payment slips, conducting searches and providing completion statements
  • Processing registrations through the Land Registry portal
  • Managing telephone calls and taking messages when necessary
  • Promoting the firm’s core values

You will be enthusiastic, friendly and ideally possess strong academics. Salary is between £20,000 - £25,000 p/a and is dependent on experience.
