LEGAL ASSISTANT - EDUCATION

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 09.00 - 17.15

£24,000 - £26,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE

People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Legal Assistant to work with our Cardiff based client in their busy Education Law department.

This is a fast-paced role, within a well-established firm. The role would be best suited to a driver, due to the location of our client's offices.

The successful candidate can expect to receive the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties

Day to day duties for this role Include:

  • Providing administrative support for fee earners and solicitors within the Education department
  • Taking telephone enquiries on behalf of the Education Legal Team, taking messages and answering queries
  • Case related correspondence via email, post and telephone
  • Preparation of court files
  • Building and processing of tribunal bundles
  • Recording all information on the case management system
  • All other duties as required

Essential Skills

  • Strong secretarial and administrative skills, preferably gained within a legal education background
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
  • Attention to detail, coupled with the ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise
  • A confident and assertive demeanour
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
