A leading regional law firm has a new opportunity for a Legal Aid Family Solicitor to join its team based in Crossgates. About the role:
The role will involve managing a caseload of matters including care proceedings, children arrangements and domestic violence cases.
The role is suitable for an established Solicitor with experience in Legal Aid, looking for the next step in their career.
KEY TASKS
- Running a case load of client matters.
- Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client’s initial instructions, applying for legal aid where appropriate, and advocacy.
- Drafting statements, applications and other court pleadings.
- Dealing with new client enquiries.
- Providing support to other fee earners in the family department.
Circa 0-3 years’ PQE+ in legal aid family law is required.
