Key Responsibilities of the Fabrication and Welding Lecturer
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical sessions in Fabrication and Welding to students at various levels.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum materials that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to facilitate their learning and skill development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of electrical installation and incorporate relevant updates into teaching practices.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to external body requirements and institutional policies.

Requirementsof the Fabrication and Welding Lecturer
  • A relevant qualification in Fabrication and Welding or a related field.
  • Possession of a vocational qualification at Level 3 or higher, along with relevant teaching and assessing qualifications (or willingness to attain them).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the college community.
