Learning Support Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant
TimePlan Education are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN. Your role will be to support children in the classroom. You will be working on a full term/part time basis with the opportunity of potentially getting a long term or permanent role in a school.
The school is a lovely SEN school in Uxbridge area areas which is known for its dynamic team and supportive SLT. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in their role very quickly and they will receive continues training.
Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties and EAL.
- Ability to engage and support pupils.
- Assist with personal care if needed.
- Supervising pupils' behaviour.
- Being able to support children with complex needs.
- Supporting teachers of the class to always supervise children.

Job Requirements
- Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
- Calm and empathetic.
- Good behaviour management.
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
