Learning Support Assistant

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting students with learning difficulties and helping them achieve their full potential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of learning difficulties.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials to meet the needs of students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting each child’s individual development.
