Horizon Teachers are working with an all-through School based in Small Heath in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with them from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. This role is to help closely support a student on a 1:1 basis that has Special Educational Needs.
In this role you will be working alongside a student within their Year 4 class that has Mild Learning Difficulties that can lead to challenging behaviours. You will need to be able to support them within lessons and help the class teacher manage their behaviour and keep them engaged.
The school is looking for confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants who are eager to learn, develop and help students grow. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will need to use your initiative to help best support them and the class teacher. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £500 per week.
