We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a 11-18 Secondary School in NE46 to work on a full-time, long-term basis!

Your role & responsibilities: (*include 4 max)  

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support students consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Deliver catch-up/intervention sessions
  • Work with the class teacher in planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons as appropriate

Non-negotiables: (*include 4 max)  

  • Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people (preferably in an educational setting)
  • Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
  • Empathy and compassion - passionate about providing a nurturing learning environment
  • The ability to work under the guidance of the class teacher
