An 'Outstanding' secondary school in Westminster is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their team starting in September in their mainstream classrooms.

Salary: Starting at £85 per day.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with the classroom teacher to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  2. Assisting in planning and preparing engaging and effective learning activities.
  3. Providing one-to-one support to individual students, addressing their specific needs.
  4. Encouraging and promoting independent learning, helping students develop essential skills.
  5. Monitoring and recording students' progress and offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
  6. Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  7. Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities and events to foster a sense of community among students.
  8. Demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding to help students overcome challenges.
