Tradewind is currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Secondary Learning Support Assistant in Wilmslow.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Pay: £85 - £95 per day

Start Date: ASAP

If you have experience in a similar role or with child-based work and possess the energy and engaging personality required to connect with secondary school students, we want to hear from you!

About the role:

  • Provide classroom support to students
  • Assist with managing classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Offer 1:1 support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Provide pastoral care and support as required

To be successful in joining Tradewind and in this role, you will need:

  • Previous children-based work experience, as a learning support assistant or transferrable child-based work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
  • Understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for a new one)
  • Provide a CV with complete employment history/education
