Learning Support Assistant - Braintree Area - Full-Time

About the LSA Role:

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Learning Support Assistant with experience working in a primary school in the Braintree area. This is a full-time role starting after the easter break.

Contract Details for the LSA role:

  • Contract type - ongoing
  • Full-time/part-time - Full-time Monday to Friday
  • Minimum rate of pay - £70 per day
Experience, Training and Qualifications for the SEN TA role:
  • Previous experience working with visually impaired and hearing impaired students.
  • You must be able to modify the pre-planned lessons with the use of braile and audio.
  • Previous experience working within further education is desirable.
  • A passion for working with students with SEND.
  • Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
  • You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
To be eligible for the LSA role through Prospero Teaching you must:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
