Milk Education are working with an Ofsted Good Primary school in Dartford who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work across EYFS - KS2 class. This Teaching Assistant role is to support both students and the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the EYFS and KS2 children working on a one to one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so. This primary school has an additional resource base for students with ASC and Speech and language needs. 

The hours of work are 08:30am- 16:30pm and the hours will be Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break. This role is to start after Easter.

This Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with Learning and Developing
  • Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Encouraging, Supporting and De-escalating students
  • Being involved across the curriculum, including outdoor learning, PE and Core subjects

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant that is:

  • Previous experience working within a educational setting
  • Creative, Pro-active and Enthusiastic Individual
  • Able to work under own initiative 
  • Education related qualification preferred but not essential
