The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in both classroom and individual settings.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other personalized learning strategies.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.
  • Offering encouragement and motivation to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with young people and making a difference in their lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality in education.
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in education, childcare, or support work is desirable but not essential.
