Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

LSA required - Working with a child with limited English - Immediate start - Exceptional Waltham Cross Primary School - £90 per day - Long term role starting ASAP- 8.30am to 3.30pm Mon - Fri

This school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join its outstanding Ofsted rated school in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. The role will support a Year 1 child who has recently arrived in the UK and has limited English language skills and school experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with communication difficulties. Other key experience for the post includes:

  • Compassion and understanding for a child who is in completely new surroundings
  • The desire to work with children who are low ability
  • Keen to work as part of a large team dedicated to inclusive education

The position starts immediately and is expected to last until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance. Our school boasts exceptional facilities, including large indoor and outdoor learning spaces, dedicated one-to-one classrooms, and specialist SEN provision led by dedicated SEN teachers.

With a dedicated workforce of over 20 LSAs, you will have the support and resources needed to succeed in this role.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child settle and catch up with their peers. The role pays £90 per day.
