LSA required for an inclusive mainstream Secondary Academy - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire - ASAP Start on a long-term basis leading to a permanent role with the Academy directly - £100 per day starting rate

Are you experienced working with young people or pupils with Special Needs? Perhaps you're already a Teaching Assistant with some SEN experience looking for an immediately starting post.

Tradewind is working with a Great Academy who are part of Hertfordshire's best MAT's to find 2x LSA's to start in the summer term and progress onto permanent contracts with the school.

School details:

This is a well run and inclusive Academy backed by one of Hertfordshire's most respected MAT's. Working alongside the trusts mentors you'll have unrivalled access into CPD from day 1 and various routes into teacher training depending on your education to date. The Academy is a non-selective Co-Ed secondary school with a large catchment area. Working closely with the schools SENCO and SLT you will be supporting various pupils with needs including Autism, global delay, communications difficulties, and behavioural needs. This role also provides the scope for staff considering education with an eye on specialising within SEN, Psychological or cognitive development.

Learning Support Assistant requirements:

• A good level of understanding of the UK education system.
• Desire and tenacity to work within a busy and inclusive school. This is a varied role supporting multiple students and working alongside the schools SENCO
• LSA's who can commit to a full time and ongoing role 5 days a week between 8.30am and 4pm
• Experience or awareness of mainstream SEN requirements is an advantage but not essential
