Responsibilities:

As a Learning Mentor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the holistic development of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning or social-emotional development.
2. Implementing tailored intervention strategies to address individual student needs and promote their academic progress.
3. Building positive relationships with students, acting as a mentor and advocate for their well-being and success.
4. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement personalised support plans for students.
5. Monitoring student progress and behaviour, providing feedback and guidance to promote positive outcomes.
6. Assisting with the implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and achievement.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or youth setting.
• A passion for supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A valid DBS certificate registered on the update service.
• Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
