Key Responsibilities:

Management of Production Operations:

• Lead and supervise a team of production workers to ensure efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor production metrics such as output, quality, and efficiency, and take corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
• Be prepared to jump onto a forklift if necessary to support the team. (Forklift training will be available if required).

Machinery Repair and Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose mechanical technical problems with production equipment and implement timely repairs with external contractors where necessary.
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians or external service providers for complex repairs or scheduled maintenance tasks.

Training and Development:

• Train production workers on proper operating procedures, safety protocols, and basic maintenance tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting equipment problems and implementing solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination within the production environment.
