Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Lead teacher of computing to join a successful secondary school in Oldham.

This is a full-time permanent teaching role with lead teacher responsibilities.

The Role

Lead Teacher of ICT and Computing - GCSE OCR exam board.

Confident, focussed, and passionate about Computing and Creative Media

Leading the computing department (currently four Computing teachers) and supporting the Associate Curriculum leader for Computing and wider senior leadership team.

Outstanding subject knowledge with an ability to share this with pupils in an exciting and academically rigorous way.

Working collaboratively across other departments to ensure computing skills and creative media are learned as a cohesive part of the students education.

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and Key stage 4 OCR Computing.

The school are keen to speak to QTS computing teachers with more than two years teaching experience.

Teaching is consistently good. Teachers know the pupils well and plan interesting lessons that engage them. They follow the school's marking and feedback policy well, which ensures that pupils know what to do to improve their work. Pupils behave well and enjoy school.

Hold QTS or QTLS

Have the legal right to work full time in the UK

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
