Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Service Technician to join our team in Wigan. As the Lead Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and installation of ground and air source heating systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, manage projects, and contribute to the growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of service technicians in performing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks for ground and air source heating systems.
  • Conduct site visits to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule service appointments and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in heating system maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to provide technical support and insights for project planning and implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining ground and air source heating systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, heat pumps, and related equipment.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with clients and team members.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Relevant qualifications in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
