Our global EdTech client is seeking a Lead React Native Mobile Engineer to join their team.

The Lead React Native Mobile Engineer will work 100% remotely from anywhere in the UK.

MFK Recruitment has previously recruited 2 Software Engineers to this company, both individuals are still with the company and really enjoying their roles!

The company is growing rapidly, both organically and inorganically, and has successfully completed four acquisitions in the past year. They have a diverse and world class team poised for their next phase of rapid growth.

As the Lead React Native Mobile Engineer, you will hold a pivotal role in conceptualizing, crafting, and sustaining our cutting-edge flagship mobile application. Collaborating seamlessly with the design, product, and backend teams, you will drive the delivery of unparalleled user experiences. Your role involves ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness while upholding the technical excellence of the app.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record 5 years of creating and deploying mobile apps using React Native, primarily for iOS and Android.
  • Profound expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks and libraries.
  • Sound grasp of mobile UI/UX design principles and adherence to best practices.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control and experience working in agile development environments.
  • Adept problem solver with a history of delivering quality code and solutions.
  • Effective communicator who collaborates seamlessly within cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in guiding junior engineers and providing technical leadership is advantageous.
