Hexagon Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our Runcorn based client for the position of a: Lead Production Machine Operator

Our Client are one of the largest UK manufactures of Plastic Injection Moulders and have a vacancy within their modern manufacturing site located at Runcorn.

* Salary £25000 per year (starting rate to be reviewed)
* Working Hours are, Mornings, Afternoon and Nights (weekly rotating shifts)
* This Job role is offered on a 12 week Temp to Perm Basis

Job Description: 

General: Reporting to Shift Supervisor

To carry out all quality control inspections as laid down in the company quality inspection manual. Reporting any deviations to the Shift Supervisor or QA Manager.

Undertaking the corrective actions deemed necessary when goods fall outside the laid down specification by rejecting or quarantining production.

To ensure all operators are undertaking the required visual checks on all products to ensure optimum quality standards, and they are correctly recording and labeling goods.

To complete all relevant paperwork applicable to the process/inspection or reports.For example pallet tickets, production log sheets, quality inspection result sheets etc.

To carry out all manual operations which are required on the process, following relevant training.

To meet the required quality standards for the process.

To understand and meet the required QS ISO9001:standards.

To work on any process that is required. Whilst ensuring that the Quality function is given top priority

To wear any Personal Protective Equipment that may be specified for that particular job.

Participate in all ongoing training plans.

Responsible for the housekeeping of all aspects of the machines and surrounding areas.

To ensure all potential safety hazards are reported to their Supervisors.

All employees will be expected to work in cross-functional roles within the business as and when required.
