Lead Playground Installer

Home Front are a family-run company known for crafting the highest quality wooden climbing frames for residential and commercial use.  Nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, they are on the lookout for a Lead Playground Installer to join their growing team.

This exciting role will be based from the company’s lovely workshop in Salisbury, with travel required to and from site. This role requires good physical fitness, a love for outdoor work, and a commitment to excellence.

The Role:

This isn’t just about playground installation; it's about creating joy and enhancing outdoor experiences. Whether you're a seasoned installer, a skilled landscaper, a fencer, or someone exceptionally handy, your skills are valuable and transferable to this role.

The role is paying up to £33,000, with flexible hours, a pension scheme and performance-related bonus.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation of high-quality wooden play equipment on-site.
• Maintenance and preparation work at Home Front’s purpose-built Wiltshire workshop.
• Demonstrating pride in your work, upholding high standards.
• Effective teamwork and individual work, with courteous client interaction.
• Adapting to flexible hours with early starts, depending on project requirements.
• Continuous skill development, both personally and professionally.
• Upholding safety and efficiency on-site and at base.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Embodies honesty, integrity, and punctuality.
• Exceptional communication skills and team-oriented.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and self-motivated.
• Holds a clean driving licence (over 25 for insurance purposes).
• Shares the company values and growth ambitions.
• Must be able to travel to site and be prepared for early starts

The company offers great flexibility around the working hours. Due to the travelling to and from site, your hours will be consolidated into a shorter week, with no more than 48 hours worked in peak weeks, with hours being balanced in quieter periods - if you enjoy 3 day weekends, this might be a job for you!

Home Front are flexible in their approach and the right candidate will be too! The hours may be long one day and short the next, especially throughout the peaks and troughs of our work seasons.
