This role provides a platform to showcase your technical and hands-on expertise whilst overseeing a small team of Mechanical Design Engineers. You will oversee projects from concept to manufacturing and play an important role in the department's overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in providing technically sound engineering solutions, supported by design analysis
- Drive innovation by implementing advanced solutions with the latest materials and technology
- Manage product developments to maintain standard equipment offerings across the range
- Take full design responsibility for projects, ensuring all deliverables are met from start to finish
- Direct team management, including recruitment, training, and overseeing project quality and schedule
Key Requirements:
- Extensive Mechanical Design Engineer background
- Strong hands-on experience in design, analysis and testing of mechanical systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise accordingly
- Experience managing, leading and developing other engineers
