LEAD LOCATION/GEOSPATIAL ANALYST

£65,000 - £70,000 + BENEFITS

THE COMPANY

As a Lead Location/Geospatial Analyst at this FTSE100 firm you will be working closely with leadership teams to drive location analytics which plays a key role in their revenue generation. This company's structure means that your team is closely aligned with key stakeholders, who you will be delivering insights to generate commercial uplift.

THE ROLE

As a Lead Location/Geospatial Analyst you can expect to be working in an Advanced Analytics function leading on creating advanced location-based data products using web scraping, predictive modelling and data visualisation.

More specifically, as a Lead Location/Geospatial Analyst, you will be involved in the following:

• Using Excel for data cleansing, and Power BI for dashboard generation
• Using Python for web scraping and predictive modelling specifically for location/geospatial analytics
• Utilising various GIS tools when necessary
• Working with key stakeholders across the business, selling in data products and solutions
• Owning key stakeholder relationships

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Lead Location/Geospatial Analyst will have the following skills and experience:

• Very strong SQL experience, inclusive of relational databases to understand and aid team members when required
• Strong ability to derive insights from fragmented data
• Experience working with Python ideally for web scraping and predictive modelling, specifically for location or GIS analytics
• Good communication and stakeholder skills

BENEFITS

The successful Lead Location/Geospatial Analyst will receive a salary between £65,000 and £70,000 as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
