Lead Data Engineer & ETL Developer - £50,000 - £55,000

  • Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum
  • Location: Multiple offices across London and Kent (Hybrid)
  • Working Hours: 35 hours total

The Lead Data Engineer & ETL Developer role:

An exciting client of mine are entering a period of growth after coming off the back of a huge merger, they pride themselves and their ways of working through their values. The Lead Data Engineer & ETL Developer role will ensure data systems are well maintained and developed to a high level. While working alongside the data community of practice, the successful candidate will ensure all practices are understood and consistently completed with quality.

Essentials skills for the Lead Data Engineer & ETL Developer:

  • Experience with end-to-end development of data warehouses
  • Experience working on data integration projects
  • Data architecture experience
  • Understanding of Software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
  • Experience Designing source data and data management principles
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts
  • Experience working with large data assets
  • Strong experience working with SQL

Desirable skills for the Lead Data Engineer & ETL Developer:

  • Relevant Data/ IT Certifications
  • .NET or java experience
  • Understanding of "DevOps mentality"
