Your new opportunity

As the Lead Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, construction, and maintenance of data infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.

You will be responsible for managing the releases and deployments through Azure DevOps, designing and implement data solutions on Microsoft Azure (including data lakes, data warehouses and data pipelines), and designing and managing ETL processes for the ingestion, transformation, and integration of data.

Release management is a huge part of this role, as you will manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and implement automation for release processes.

Working closely alongside technical teams, you’ll make sure that the companies data systems are reliable, scalable and are aligned with business needs.

About you

You will need a strong background working as a Data Engineer, with demonstrated hands-on experience in using Microsoft Azure services, with a strong knowledge of data warehouse technologies.

You’ll need to have a strong understanding of SQL Server, Azure Data Bricks and/or Pyspark, data pipeline creation and optimization, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
