Lead Data Engineer / Technical Architect Worksop / WFH to £60k

Do you have experience of designing data architectures, combined with a good understanding of AWS?

You could be progressing your career as a Lead Data Engineer / Technical Architect at a growing tech company that provide a range of IoT and Data solutions for the Emergency Services, in a hands-on role lead role.

As a Lead Data Engineer / Technical Architect you'll design scalable and robust data architectures, to enable the company to transition to a more modern AWS Lambda environment (currently hybrid with Data Centres), designing and managing efficient data infrastructures. You'll provide technical guidance and leadership to the team, running Agile sessions, managing work loads and providing expertise.

Location / WFH:

There's a remote first policy with the caveat that you'll meet up with the team once a month in Worksop.

About you:

• You have experience of designing and implementing efficient data architectures, data solutions and have strong data modelling skills
• You have data cloud migration experience
• You have a strong knowledge of variety of databases and modern tooling such as Snowflake, Databricks and can make recommendations on technology choices
• You're a collaborative and pragmatic communicator with great communication skills
