• Understand current client IT landscape, as well as business strategic direction and development.
• Assess technology trends:
o AWS, Azure and GCP services – and maybe other hyperscalers to align to future business requirements (eg China, Russia)
o Tooling ecosystem (DevOps, Observability, Security)
o Costs
o Reversibility
• Define workload placement rules.
• Define a medium and long term roadmap for the cloud strategy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Ability to work in an international environment.
