Lead Cloud Platform Engineering | Global Law Firm | Permanent | Hybrid | Liverpool Street | Up to £96,000 + Bonus

This client operates on a hybrid working model with 3 days every two weeks being onsite near Liverpool Street Station

Our client is a global leader in the legal field and they looking for a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to join the team. Your main responsibilities will be

  • Guide and mentor the cloud engineering team.
  • Lead architectural discussions, make design decisions, and promote best practices in cloud development.
  • Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud platforms and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, and align cloud initiatives with business goals.
  • Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, automating processes and enhancing resource utilization.
  • Ensure cloud security and compliance through robust measures, incident resolution, and governance adherence. 

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Azure cloud Platforms
  • Low-level design experience
  • Exposure to High-level design
  • Experience with scripting i.e. Powershell 
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
  • Good understanding of Network protocols in Azure environments
  • Exposure to GCP and AWS is desirable 
  • Experience with Bicep and Ansible is desirable
