Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

We're seeking a Lead Administrator to join a family-run business in Chelmsford known for its excellent work environment.

Duties and responsabilities:

· Managing a team of administration staff: overseeing and managing workloads

· Project management of small projects in collaboration with electrical manager

· Monitoring and reporting KPIs and targets

· Office management - stock control, office maintenance

· Updating and maintaining training records, including booking courses

· Dealing with escalations and complaints

· Monitoring staff performance

· Helping establish and maintain office procedures

· Credit control

· Set up files for new projects, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly organised.

· Carry out Inductions and training of all new personnel.

· Support the Directors, including co-ordinating and organising diaries, training events, internal meetings, travel & accommodation bookings.

· Update procedures for invoicing, expenses, and user guides for systems.

· Work closely with Directors for all staffing matters.

· Set team focus plans and carry out regular individual meetings.

· Building relationships with clients, suppliers and engineers

· Undertaking any necessary training and development

· Any other ad hoc duties
