My client is a market-leading, fast-growing organisation based in Cardiff, Wales. They combine their experience with their expertise to provide an efficient strategic sufficient service. They are currently recruiting for a permanent Learning and Development Manager to join the team.

Your new role
This position will be critical to the organisation by designing, implementing and overseeing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees to meet the organisation's needs. The responsibilities include but are not subject to: designing comprehensive training programs tailored to address the identified needs.

  • Develop training materials such as presentations, manuals and multimedia aids.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops and seminars in-person and visual.
  • Develop evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Review feedback from participants and stakeholders ensuring continuous improvement of training quality and relevance.
  • Manage training schedules, venue selection and resource allocation.
  • Manage training records for compliance and reporting purposes.



What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Proven experience as a training manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience in designing and delivering effective training programs
  • Excellent understanding of learning principles, instructional design methodologies and training evaluation techniques.
  • Excelled communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of training software and learning management systems.
  • Training qualifications such as CIPD, CPLP...


What you'll get in return
The role is a permanent placement, and you will be required to work 37 hours weekly. The role is based in Cardiff but offers a hybrid / flexible working option (2 days per week in the office) and offers a salary of £40-45k (dependent on experience). The additional benefits include annual bonus' (performance dependent), over and above voucher awards, annual salary reviews and 25 days + BH.
