Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Lathe Setter/Operator for our manufacturing client based in Dronfield, S18

Lathe Setter/Operator Benefits:

  • Location: Dronfeld, S18
  • Salary: £12 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm + Friday 8am - 3.30pm (30 min lunch break + 2 x 10mn breaks) 39 hour basic working week plus overtime available / required.
  • Pensions: Contributed Pension after 3 month qualification period
  • Bonuses (Once / Twice yearly if company is making profits as expected - Paid based on set out parameters)
  • Holidays: 20 days paid holiday + 8 Bank Holidays (3 or 4 paid days taken off this for Christmas shutdown period) Holidays increase 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days

Capstan Lathe Setter/Operator Duties:

  • Preferably experienced in manufacturing Nuts and Bolts
  • Tasks include, but are not restricted too, the following:
  • Setting up of Lathes / Machines.
  • Grinding own Tooling.
  • Operating Lathes / Machines to produce fasteners. (Turning, Drilling, Threading etc.)
  • Responsible for inspection of all own work produced.
  • Counting of component.
  • Finishing components when required.
  • Finishing of Components.
  • Flexible on staying behind to ensure all goods are produced on time. (Overtime when required).
  • Other duties as decided by the Works Manager
