Looking for your next step in Large Loss Claims within Motor insurance?

We're looking for experienced handlers to come join our growing team and Pro-actively handle a portfolio of motor claims consisting of mainly bodily injury claims with a value of up to £500,000

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

  • Controlling claim cost by achieving the most economical settlement, through good use of liability and quantum arguments and effective negotiation
  • Responding promptly and proactively to incoming telephone calls and correspondence by use of telephone, e-mail and letter.
  • Maintaining good file discipline and accurate reserves, together with an effective diary system ensures that cases are reviewed on a regular basis.

What do you need to do to be successful in a role?

  • Current technical knowledge of personal injury claims within motor insurance and handling experience of multi track claims.
  • Good knowledge of medical disciplines is required in investigating personal injury claims at all levels of severity.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding and application of claims negotiation, liability decision making and cost potential.
  • Knowledge of current, relevant Case Law
