Are you passionate about language education and dedicated to inspiring students to become proficient communicators in a globalized world? We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Language Teacher to join our vibrant community of educators.

Job Title: Language Teacher - Full time or Part Time 

Location: Tavistock 

Company Overview: The Supply Register are a managed service working alongside 4 large multi academy trusts within Devon & Cornwall. We are currently seeking experienced and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to join our team on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and maintain continuity of education for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to enhance language acquisition.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum objectives, share best practices, and promote interdisciplinary connections.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language teaching and pedagogy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in [Language] or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification/license in [Language] or relevant teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in [Target Language] and fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for cultural exchange, international education, and fostering global competence in students.
