Job Title: Land Surveyor
Location: Blackburn
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Role: Permanent

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other important land features. You will utilize various tools and technologies such as ArcGIS, CAD, and AutoCAD to collect and analyse data. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working outdoors, and has a passion for land surveying.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Travel to and from any site within the north of England as and when required (travel to other sites anywhere in the UK may be required in the future)
  • Undertake topographical surveys on quarries, landfill sites and on any other site/ project as required
  • Undertake setting out to a design. This is predominantly designs for landfill cells and other site/ project as required
  • Producing 2D drawings and plans using AutoCAD software
  • Carrying out 3D modelling and the provision of volumes using survey processing software
