Land Manager - Devon
RGB Recruitment is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Land Manager to join a well-established contractor on a permanent basis. Based in the heart of Devon, the Land Manager will oversee all land purchase activity and acquisition of commercial developments locations across the region. Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage the land function
  • Setting budgets, minimizing risks, maximising opportunities
  • Manage all projects from initial site identification through appraisal and approval to the point of purchase
  • Liaise with all internal teams and external consultants / authorities as required
  • Take responsibility for all land purchase activity and maintain the land schedule
  • Report directly to the director on potential and existing land acquisitions
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in negotiating land transactions
  • Strong management skills with the ability to influence
  • A good understanding of debt and development appraisals
  • Confident in presenting to key stakeholders
  • Willing to travel, relevant UK driving licence
