OCU Hornbill (Part of the OCU Group) currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Labourer. As we continue to grow through 2024, this has provided us with an opportunity to grow and develop our team based in Neath.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tasks such as the installation of cable, containment and clipping etc.
  • Ensure adherence to company and industry regulations.
  • Operate equipment (for which training has been received) in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are stored safely and securely.
  • Where practical, clean and make minor repairs to equipment and tools.
  • Operate basic hand/power tools.
  • Site based work may include working away from home or during weekends as reasonably required and with sufficient notice where possible.
  • Any other tasks as reasonable required in relation to your role.
  • Ensure the highest levels of quality are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments & drive SHEQ excellence.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience supporting electricians installing cable, containment and clipping.
  • Experience using basic power tools.
  • Able to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Professional approach, self-organised and motivated.
  • Able to help support electricians carry tools and other equipment between jobs.
  • Full driving licence is essential, Daily travel is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and timekeeping.
