Manpower Driving and Logistics are currently recruiting on behalf one of our national clients in the Huddersfield area. We have an existing vacancy for a Labourer / engineers mate

The pay rate is £12.44 per hour with overtime paid after 42.5 hours a week at £18.66 The role is PAYE including 28 days holiday per year.

The role will involve assisting a gas engineer in completing civil works for installation of vessels and pipework. Duties will include working outdoors completing labouring tasks such as excavation, laying pipework, back-filling, completing banks man duties and basic landscaping. There is also the potential to learn the technical attributes of the work.

The hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm with some early mornings and late finishes required in busy times. Some nights away from home will also be required. Hotel and meals are provided and a stop out bonus of £41.42 is paid.

Previous labouring experience is preferred. Qualifications such as plant tickets i.e. excavator or dumper, H&S certificates i.e. CSCS qualifications, would be advantageous but not essential as full training on the job will be provided. A full UK driving licence is required.

For insurance purposes, you should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.

This is a temp to perm position.
