Are you a UKAS laboratory Manager or similar from a Calibration background who has an understanding of UKAS 17025 standards looking for an autonomous role within a growing company offering full autonomy and flexible working hours?

This well-established yet growing company offer an expert comprehensive and bespoke construction testing service package within the UK construction market. This includes a variety of calibration services from the following fields: Dimensional, Electrical, and Force & Torque. Due to a coworker moving roles they are looking for a new Laboratory Manager to join their ranks and take the role forward.

In this autonomous role you will be in charge of the day to day responsibility of the running of the laboratory, including people management and managing uncertainty budgets. You will be carrying out internal quality checks and calibrations to ISO 17025 standards within the following fields: Dimensional, Electrical, and Force & Torque, and you will be required to have worked in a UKAS accredited laboratory before (at least 10 years). You will work a Monday - Friday working week of 40 hours, however depending on experience this can be negotiated down.

This varied role would suit a laboratory Manager or similar from a Calibration background looking for a role offering full autonomy and flexible working hours within a friendly tight-knit team of 12.

The Role:

• Day to Day to Running of the Laboratory and people management
• Internal quality checks to ISO 17025 standards
• Monday - Friday 40 hours
