Position: Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified)

Location: Southampton

Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Day to day, short-term and long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating environment, ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.
  • Regularly assess and record children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a nursery setting, with a sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
