Our client, a leader within their field based in Sutton Coldfield, is currently recruiting for an L&D Specialist on a permanent basis.

The Annual salary is up to £35,000 with a £4,000 car allowance, overnight expenses and mileage reimbursement, along with other great benefits.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering training and upskilling employees of all levels, and will be confident travelling weekly to sites across the North East and the Midlands.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of delivery methods such as workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and virtual classrooms
  • Providing one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed to reinforce learning and development goals
  • Supporting the continual development of training modules, including conducting needs assessments, defining learning objectives, and selecting appropriate instructional methods and materials
  • Creating training materials, presentations, and resources to support training initiatives, working with operational staff to ensure the accuracy of content
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and gathering feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery
  • Working in partnership with the HR team and operational managers to identify training needs and priorities

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Previous experience delivering training virtually or face to face
  • Highly organised and logical approach to managing priorities
  • Able to deal with a heavy workload with conflicting priorities whilst maintaining accuracy and achieving deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and functional experience with working with HRIS
  • Skilled in engaging a diverse range of stakeholders, to build relationships that are based on trust, to work collaboratively and to resolve issues, both internally and externally

Working hours:

  • 38 Hours per Week
  • Monday - Friday, 8:45-5pm
